The gig economy has many benefits: a flexible schedule, no co-worker drama, no demanding bosses, and the ability to work wherever and whenever you want. It's awesome. However, there are also drawbacks. I miss having my taxes automatically figured out, the generous employer 401K match, and the opportunity to talk shop and interact with a team.
